Married in 1980, moved to California. Returned to this area in 1987 after the birth of my son. We located in Buchanan area then, and have lived there since return. Entered the health care field in Cal. as a Certified Dietary Supervisor. Left that field in 1999 to enter the school kitchen here as kitchen manager. Retired from that after husband passed away. Work part time now in assisted living facility as a cook/baker. Avid gardener, and spend lots of time knitting, crocheting, and sewing.

Funny that I now excel at the things I flunked in home economics. But in reality, I only flunked that class because I was more interested in trading Beatle cards and mementos than in paying attention in class.
