Beth Ann (DePoy) Van Parys

Beth Ann Van Parys, known affectionately as Beth, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2023, in Mishawaka, Indiana. Born on February 8, 1959, in South Bend, Indiana, she was the beloved daughter of the late Robert and Alice (Troeger) DePoy.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Mark Van Parys, who was her partner in life and love. They were married on June 2, 2001, in South Bend, Indiana. Beth's memory will also be cherished by her daughter, Lisa (Harold) Richardson of South Bend, Indiana, and her brothers, Darren DePoy, and Douglas (Sherry) DePoy also of South Bend. She was a beloved aunt to her nephews, Steven (Jennifer) DePoy and Michael (Maggie) DePoy along with her grand nephew and nieces, Benjamin, Colette and Claira.

Beth was a longtime fan of Notre Dame Women’s Basketball and enjoyed cheering for her Irish. She had a love for children and was always helping them any way she could. She was a past foster parent and took pride in her work as a volunteer of the CASA program.

Beth's professional life was marked by her dedication and commitment to her work in the Loan Division of 1st Source Bank. Her colleagues admired her for her work ethic and her ability to bring a sense of calm and order to even the most challenging situations.

Funeral Services for Beth will be held at 1:00pm, Friday October 20, 2023, at Palmer Funeral Home – Welsheimer North Chapel. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
