SOUTH BEND - Dianne Helen Hinz, 54, of South Bend, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 8, 2009, in her home. She was born on September 11, 1955, in South Bend, to Raymond L. Sr. and the late Audrey Joan (Vogler) Hinz, and was a lifelong area resident.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Audrey Lee Stewart. Dianne is survived by her father, Raymond L. Hinz Sr. of South Bend; her two sisters, Janine (Chris) Kohler of South Bend and Jackie (Rich) Tiran of Truckee, CA; her four brothers, Raymond R. (Doreen) Jr. of South Bend, Ed (Molly) of Niles, MI, Tom (Carmen) of South Bend and Jerry of Buchanan, MI; four nieces, Heather, Rachel, Brittney and Morgan; and eight nephews, Raymond M., Ian, Matthew, Austin, Ben, Tommy, Mitchell and Wyatt.

Dianne was a waitress with the Emporium Restaurant in South Bend for 15 years. She was a Clay High School graduate.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 13, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, where a parish Rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 14, in Christ the King Catholic Church, 52473 S.R. 933, South Bend.
