Services for Patricia Gale Jablonski, 53, of North Francis Street, South Bend, who died at 7:20 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, in her home, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, in the Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Rd., South Bend.
Friends may call from 5-7 p.m., today, in the funeral home.
Mrs. Jablonski retired in 1992 from the University of Notre Dame after 28 years of service where she was a lab tech. Patricia was born Dec. 24, 1942, in Centerville, Mich., and had lived in South Bend for 50 years. On Dec. 17, 1983, in South Bend, as Patricia Gale Huston, she married Martin D. Jablonski, who died March 12, 1992.
Surviving her are a sister, Carol Lee Marks; a niece, Kimberly Scott; a grand-niece, Rebecca Scott, all of Eau Claire, Mich.; two aunts, Barbara Van Dyke of North Aurora, Ill., and Virginia Wiser of Niceville, Fla.
One sister, Joyce Huston, preceded her in death on Dec. 14, 1954.
Patricia was a member of the Women of the Moose 58 and was a volunteer for the Civil Defense Weather Watch. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Ct., South Bend IN 46637-3437.
