Leonard Anthony Underly

Leonard A. Underly, 60, of Glen Lee Trail, Granger, Ind., died at 12:10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend.
He was born on March 9, 1943 in South Bend. On Aug. 13, 1966, in Mishawaka, Ind., he married Joyce Wozny, who survives. Mr. Underly is also survived by his parents, Genevieve and James H. Underly of Granger; a sister, Sandra (John Michael) Blair of Elkhart, Ind.; and by five nieces, Erin (Tim) Goffinett, Wendy (Jim) Bray, both of Indianapolis, Kelly Blair of Traverse City, Mich., Megan (Jason) Hutchins of Elkhart, and Stephanie Blair of West Lafayette, Ind.
Mr. Underly was an independent insurance agent and owned Advanced Insurance Services. He was a member of the Independent Insurance Agents and the BK Club in Mishawaka. He was a former member of the Osceola Lions Club, was a 1961 graduate of Clay High School, and was an Air Force Veteran.
Services for Mr. Underly will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, in St. Pius X Catholic Church, Granger. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, and one hour prior to services on Tuesday in the church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.
