Jordan Michael Cahall

July 18, 1989 ~ April 20, 2023 (age 33)

Jordan Michael Cahall, 33 years old, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday afternoon, April 20, 2023 as the result of a tragic automobile accident.  Jordan was born on July 18, 1989 in South Bend and has remained a lifelong area resident. 

Jordan is survived by his parents, Jody and Robert Divjak of Elkhart and Steven and Kelly Cahall of Granger; his two brothers, Tyler Cahall of Sturgis, MI and Brandon (Amanda) Reasonover of Ft. Wayne; and his nephew, Leo Cahall.  Jordan is also survived by his grandparents, Rita Cahall of South Bend, George Gyori of Elkhart and James and Susan Horvath of Osceola.  Jordan loved his family and will be missed immensely. 

Jordan worked in the tool & die industry.  He loved sports, especially basketball and Kobe Bryant. Jordan enjoyed watching all of Notre Dame sporting events, especially basketball.  He had a sweet-tooth and loved anything to do with sugar.  Jordan was a caring and giving person, never meeting a stranger. 

His mother says, “The most beautiful people in the world are the ones we have been blessed to love.  We especially admire the ones who have known defeat, suffering, struggle and loss, and yet found their way each day praying for peace.  That day for peace for you, my son, was April 20, 2023.  In life you showed compassion, gentleness, and a deep concern, putting others before yourself.  You were a person with a kind, loving and beautiful soul.  We prayed for you every day and knew God had a plan but His plan came much too soon for us.  We are so grateful we were chosen to be your mom and dad as being your parents was our greatest honor and you will always be in our hearts.”
