Eva Johanna Clobridge

Mar. 30, 1931 - Jan. 21, 2005

Eva J. Clobridge, 73, of 1834 Bond Street, Niles, passed away Friday, January 21, at the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in South Bend, Indiana, following an illness.

She was born on March 30, 1931, to Hans and Dora (Adam) Weinhold in South Bend, Indiana. On June 20, 1953, Eva married Duane Clobridge at a ceremony in New Apostolic Church, South Bend, Indiana.

A homemaker most of her life, Eva's hobbies also consisted of swimming at the YMCA, eating out, Christmas shopping trips to Chicago with her mother and, as a true homemaker, enjoyed all sorts of crafts. She was a member of New Apostolic Church of Niles. In addition to those hobbies, Eva's true love was spending time with her family.

Eva was preceded in death by her father, Hans Weinhold.

She is survived by her husband, Duane "Buck" Clobridge of Niles; her mother, Dora Weinhold of Niles, Michigan; two sons, Steven (Penni) Clobridge of Palatine, Illinois, and Scott (Kathy) Clobridge of Edwardsburg, Michigan; and a daughter, Susan (Tod) Richard of Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 521 East Main Street, Niles, with the Reverend John Lindstedt officiating. Time of visitation will be held on Monday, January 24, 2005, at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m.

Contributions may be made in Eva's memory to Hospice of St. Joe County.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Niles.
