WESTVILLE, IN - John Michael Lunneen, 69 of Westville passed away Monday, January 12, 2015. He was born December 3, 1945 in St. Joseph, MO, the son of Thomas E. and Kathleen F. (Andrews) Lunneen.

John was a Veteran of the Air Force, serving in Vietnam. He worked at the Westville Correctional Facility as a nursing supervisor for midnights. John was a big fan of Notre Dame Sports and the Chicago Bears. He also was an avid reader and euchre player. John was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Wanatah and was the most kind and loving man you could know.

On October 1, 2005 in Lake Tahoe, UT, John married Palma "Pam" Ippolito who survives along with his son, Christopher Michael Lunneen of Houston, TX; mother, Kathleen Fay Lunneen of Buchannan, MI; sister, Mary Ann Ankrapp; three brothers: Thomas (Linda), Joseph (Beverly), and Jack Lunneen; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 204 Ohio St., Wanatah with Fr. Jerry Schweitzer officiating. Cremation will take place at Angelcrest Crematory, Valparaiso.
