RACHAEL S. WOODS

Jan. 14, 1992 - Sept. 13, 2012 SOUTH BEND - Rachael Savannah Woods, 20, of South Bend, IN, met her untimely death at 2:15 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2012, at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born on January 14, 1992, in South Bend, IN, to Floyd and Sheila (Gregory) Woods.

Rachael is survived by her parents, Floyd and Sheila Woods of South Bend, IN; and siblings, Recie (Pierre) Warfield of South Bend, IN, Joshua Flinn of South Bend, IN, Michael G. Flinn Jr. of Muncie, IN, Terrell Morrow of Indianapolis, IN, Kavin Williams of Nashville, TN, Antonnette Woods of Muncie, IN, Amanda Sorrell of Muncie, IN, Jaleesa Turner of Lexington, KY, and Toushambi Woods of Dayton, OH. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Brother, Danny Allan Flinn, and her grandparents, K.A. and Barbara Gregory and R.C. and Recie Lee Woods, preceded her in death.

Rachael was a lifelong resident. She attended Clay High School and was a member of Christ Chapel. Rachael enjoyed all types of music and spending time with her friends. She loved raising Pomeranian dogs, and always enjoyed hairdressing and cosmetics.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at Christ Chapel, 3402 Locust Road, South Bend, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend, IN.
