NILES - Mary Lou Romine Naftzger of Lyman, SC, died Saturday, June 23rd, at her home. She was the wife of the late Marvin E. Naftzger, and was the daughter of the late Ray and Helen Davis Romine.
Mrs. Naftzger was a beautiful homemaker and great caregiver. She was a member of the Lyman United Methodist Church and the ESA International Sorority. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, decorating, traveling, and cooking.
Survivors include her son, Kevin Naftzger; daughters, Wendi Harpel and her husband, Ron of Greer, SC, and Dawn Helser and her husband, Kip of Kansas; a sister, Gloria Logan and her husband, Bill of Indiana; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Jennie Lee Montague and Patricia Watt.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 28th, at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel of Niles, MI, followed by services at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Vickie VanNevel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Regional Hospice House, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
