GRANGER, IN - Dannie E. Hoover, 66, of Granger, died peacefully, while embraced in the Lord's loving arms.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie (Makielski) of 44 years; his four children, Becky Riffel (Kirk), Ryan Hoover (Caren), Holly Lay, and Tim Hoover (Andrea); nine grandchildren, Jared and Kyle Riffel, Josh and Natalie Hoover, Zoe and Willow Lay, Bree Delio, and Peyton and Wrigley Hoover; a brother, Larry Hoover (Dottie) of St. Joseph, MI; and sister, Patti Remmen (Delbert) of Portland, OR, along with many other loving family and friends.

Dan was a graduate of Clay High School, where he worked at Jack's Trailer Sales for several years. He retired from Hoffman Bros. Auto Parts. Dan was always willing to help anyone. He always had stories and jokes to tell that filled the room with laughter. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, with Rev. Jeff Little officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the funeral home. Cremation will take place after the services.
