GRANGER - Gary E. Niedosik, 60, of Granger, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013. Gary was born February 11, 1953, in South Bend, to the late John Joseph and Irene (Nagy) Niedosik, Jr.

On June 17, 1977, in South Bend, Gary married Rose (Gerschoffer), who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Laura Higgins of Mishawaka, Lisa Balderas of South Bend and Jennifer (Zachary) Weldy of South Bend; five granddaughters; one grandson; and three brothers, John (Barb) Niedosik of Phoenix, AZ, and Dennis Niedosik and Kenneth Niedosik, both of South Bend.

Gary was the owner of GK Engineering in Mishawaka since 1992. He was a 1971 graduate of Clay High School. Gary proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force from 1972 till 1976. He was a die-hard fan of Notre Dame, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, a Civil War enthusiast, and a member of Club 15. He enjoyed playing golf with his buddies, but mostly enjoyed building dollhouses for his granddaughters and rockets for his grandson. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 27, 2013, at Welsheimer Family Funeral Home, 17033 Cleveland Rd., with Rev. Scott Bowie officiating. Burial and graveside services will follow at Saint Joseph Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, with military honors. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 till 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
