Mara L. (Nagy) Holston

• June 5, 1959 - July 29, 2011

Mara Holston aged 52 years; of New Carlisle, Indiana passed away on July 29, 2011 in her home of natural causes.

Mara was born June 5th, 1959 in South Bend, Indiana to Robert and Janice (Brown) Nagy and married Leland Holston in Mishawaka, Indiana on October 17, 1981.

Survivors include husband Leland; mother and father, Robert and Janice Nagy; a sister, Kim (Jim) Brumbaugh; a nephew and a niece, Bobby and Sara; stepson, Mike (Pam) Holston, stepdaughter, Gale (Mike) Jacobs, grandchildren, AJ (Jeremy) Amstutz, Harrison (Marianna) Jacobs, Chad and Cherish Holston and her first great grandchild Hudson Amstutz.

Mara was a graduate of Clay High School in 1977, was employed by Bob Millers Appliances in South Bend Indiana and also worked for Wee Care Nursery School in New Carlisle. Mara was a very dedicated Wife, Stepmother and Grandmother. She loved her family and friends and would always be available whenever she was needed. She will be so missed by everyone she was always the “life of the party”. Her hobbies were reading, crocheting, and shopping.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 1, 2011 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, South Bend, IN. Burial will follow at Hamilton Cemetery in New Carlisle.
