GRANGER - Jacquelyn Marie “Jacki” (Hinchman) Neely of Granger passed away at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, June 16th in her home surrounded by her loving family. Jacki was born March 1, 1950 in Southwest Michigan to Margaret (Metzger) and the late Harold Hinchman and was a lifetime area resident. On Octoer 12, 1968 in South Bend Jacki married Jesse Neely, her high school sweetheart who she met in science class. He survives along with her daughters, Janice Neely Hurt and Jill Neely; four grandchildren, Peyton and Ava Hurt and Harrison and Spencer Buehler; her mother, Margaret Hinchman, and brother, Denny Hinchman (Linda).

Jacki was a 1968 graduate of Clay High School. She was employed by the former Petersen Graphics Group and retired from Mossberg & Co. in 2012. Jacki was an avid Notre Dame and White Sox fan and loved the beach. Peace, love, and sandy feet was one of her favorite sayings. Please wear flip flops to the services as they were her favorite shoes.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 20th at Clay Church, 52866 Ironwood Rd. from 5 until 7 p.m. A celebration of her life will follow at 7:00 p.m. Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North is assisting the family with arrangements.
