BRISTOL - Jacquelyn A. "Jackie" Reed, 67, of Bristol, died at 2:20 a.m. Thursday, June 3 in the home of her son. She was born October 31, 1942 in South Bend to Maurice & Joan (Pier) Blankert.
She married Jon B. Reed on August 8, 1998, in Syracuse. He survives, along with 2 sons, Mark W. (Donna) Weiland of Bristol and Michael T. (Diane) Weiland of Mesa, AZ. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, Kristin (Drew) Ware of Elkhart, Mark W. Weiland II, Kati Weiland and Meg Weiland all of Bristol, Timothy Weiland and Sierra (Trevor) LeBeau both of South Dakota, Jordan Weiland and Zackary Buckner both of AZ. Additional survivors include 6 great-grandchildren and 1 sister, Jill (Jim Ieraci) of Granger; and a sister-in-law, Beverly Blankert of Cassopolis, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gerry Blankert.
Jackie retired from Gunite in 2008, where she was employed as a purchasing coordinator. She enjoyed gardening.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 7 in Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Pastor Mo Vincic will officiate the service. Cremation will take place.
Memorial Contributions may be given to the Center for Hospice & Palliative Care.
