Sue Ann Dillon, 69, residing in Mishawaka, IN passed away at 3:48 PM Saturday, January 5, 2013 at St. Joseph Regional Medic al Center. Sue was a beautician and owned and operated LaPetite Hair Fashions on Maple Lane in South Bend for many years.
Sue was born on April 19, 1943 in South Bend, IN to the late Kenneth and Ruth (Reinke) Schmeltz and remained a lifelong resident. On May 29, 1969 in South Bend, IN she married William L. Dillon, who survives.
Along with her loving husband, William, Sue is also survived by her daughter, Christina (Tony Long) Dillon of Mishawaka; three grandchildren, Dakota, Braxton and Levi Dillon; and her sister, Barbara Lepe of South Bend. One sister, Sharon Vance and brother, Carl Arthur Schmeltz, both preceded her in death.
The family especially would like to thank Dr.'s Sandra C. Roland and Janet Galanes ; and Linda D. for her years of caregiving.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 9, 2013 in Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave, South Bend, where friends may visit from 9:00 AM until time of services Wednesday. Graveside services and burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN
