GRANGER - C. Dwain Nicodemus, 50, of Painted Ridge Trail, died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, after an illness. Mr. Nicodemus was a self-employed sales representative. He was born June 1, 1944, in South Bend and was a lifelong resident of the area. On June 7, 1964, in South Bend, he married Sharon F. Monroe. She survives with two daughters, Shelly Renea Nicodemus and Erica Dawn Nicodemus, both at home; a sister, Karen Sue Miller of Mishawaka; and a brother, Ronald D. Nicodemus of Mishawaka; two stepsisters, Shari Bickle of Franklin, Tenn.; and Connie Ray of Granger; and a stepbrother, Daryl Dankart of Mishawaka; his father and stepmother, Charles K. and Irene Nicodemus of Granger; and paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Nicodemus of South Bend. He was an Air Force veteran. He was a member of the Osceola Church of the Brethren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Osceola Church of the Brethren. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Hospice of St. Joseph County.
