August 6, 1966 – May 16, 2017

Fort Wayne, IN- Sharon “Sheree” (Wendt) Fate-Vargo at 50, passed Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

She was born August 6, 1966 in Painesville, Ohio, to Frederick W. Wendt IV and Janice Marie (Fisher) Wendt of Eatonton, Georgia.

Sheree received her BA in Psychology at Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Indiana.
As a Loving Mother, Sheree is survived by her son, Zachary M. Fate of Phoenix, Arizona; daughters, Alexis L. Vargo and Jordan D. Vargo both of Granger; and stepsons, Landon and Garin Vargo of Indianapolis. Also left to cherish her memory are her parents, Frederick IV and Janice Wendt; brother, Frederick V (Jamie) Wendt; nephew, Frederick VI; and niece, Abbey Wendt.

Her daughter, Courtney Rae Fate, preceded her in death on January 2010.

A memorial service to celebrate Sheree’s life will be held on Sunday, May 28th at 4:00 p.m. at the McGann Hay, Granger Chapel, 13260 SR 23, enter off Cherry Rd., Granger, IN 46530.
