JORGENSON — Douglas B. Jorgenson of Elkhart, IN passed away Monday, June 2, 2003 at his residence.

He was born March 5, 1946 in St. Joseph, MI the son of Richard A. Jorgenson and Ellen L. Oliver and married Linda N. Miller on August 20, 1966 in South Bend, IN. He was a Certified Public Accountant and was owner of Creative Business Solutions. Prior to that he was Secretary Treasurer of NIBCO, Inc. until 1987 when he founded his own business. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Elks Lodge #425, member of Indiana CPA Society; was an avid golfer and bowler and enjoyed playing bridge. He served in the U.S. Army.

Surviving are his wife, Linda N. Jorgenson of Elkhart; son, Brian D. (Brandi) Jorgenson of Elkhart; daughter, Lisa D. Jorgenson of Elkhart; two grandchildren; sister, Barbara Meyer of Grand Rapids, MI; brothers, R. Andrew Jorgenson, Dean A. (Terri) Jorgenson and Dale R. Jorgenson all of Grand Rapids.

Visitation Sunday 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Stemm Lawson Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart. Service 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, Rev. Dr. Mark Fenstermacher of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be made to Trinity Methodist Church, American Cancer Society, Indiana University Foundation or Elkhart General Community Hospice.
