ROLLING PRAIRIE - Combined services for Kelly J. Bieganski, 29, of East U.S. 20, and her day-old daughter, Nicolette Marie, will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka. Burial will be in St. Joseph Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Hickey Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, South Bend, or United Health Services.
Mrs. Bieganski died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Community Hospital, Mishawaka, of injuries suffered in a traffic accident at LaSalle and Home streets, Mishawaka. Nicolette Marie was born shortly after the accident and died Thursday night.
Mrs. Bieganski formerly was employed at Tiara Motor Coach, Elkhart. She was born Feb. 17, 1967, in South Bend. On June 24, 1995, in Mishawaka, as Kelly J. Florkowski, she married Mike R. Bieganski. He survives with her parents, Cecilia and Jerome Florkowski of South Bend; three sisters, Sheri Florkowski and Kimberly Thompson, both of Indianapolis, and Mary Florkowski of Rochester, N.Y.; a brother, Gregory Florkowski of South Bend; maternal grandmother, Delphine Florkowski of South Bend; and maternal great-grandparents, Julie and John Mason of South Bend. She was a graduate of South Bend Clay High School and a member of St. Stanislaus-Kostka Catholic Church, Terre Coupee.
Among Nicolette Marie's survivors is her paternal grandmother, Georgene Bieganski of Mishawaka.
