LAPORTE - Sherri R. Ciesielski, 45, passed away at 11:04 pm Wednesday, January 2, 2013, in IU LaPorte Hospital. Sherri was born June 30, 1967, in Prestonsburg, KY, to Randall and Betty (Haywood) Hensley. They survive along with her children, Jeff (Erin) Ciesielski of Seattle, WA, Cody Ciesielski of New Buffalo, MI, and Brandon Elkins of LaPorte; sisters, Tammy (Mike) Whitmer of South Bend and Pam (John Hochstedler) Hensley of Niles, MI; and fiancé, Shawn Elkins of LaPorte.

Sherri was preceded in death by a sister, Misty Hensley. Sherri graduated from Clay High School; she was a homemaker, enjoyed crafts, and had a love of horses.

Visitation for Sherri will be held 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
