SOUTH BEND - Darlene Kae North, 51, of Trenton Court, died at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in her home, following an illness.
Mrs. North was employed with the South Bend Community School Corp. for four years and was a local Realtor. She was born Feb. 27, 1943, in South Bend, and was a lifelong resident.
On July 20, 1963, in South Bend, as Darlene Kae Ross, she married Jack D. North. He survives with three sons, Jack D. and Michael S., both of South Bend, and Gregg R. of Jacksonville, Fla.; two grandchildren; her mother, Wilma Jean Ross of Granger; a sister, Debbie Devleeschower of Granger; a brother, Tony Ross of Mishawaka; and a maternal grandmother, Mary Longbrake of South Bend. She was a member of American Business Women's Association.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Hickey Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
