Charles A. Schaal, 64, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 in his residence.
Charles was born on August 30, 1958 in South Bend to Gale and Virginia (Evans) Schaal. They preceded him in death along with a brother John Schaal. Chuck was employed by Goff Heating & Air Conditioning, he loved golfing, motorcycles, Notre Dame football, Chicago Bears football and a Miller Lite or margarita.

Surviving are his wife Amy (Ellis) Schaal with whom he shared 27 years, along with two daughters Jessica (Jeff) Engle and Stephanie (Daulton) Schaal, two sons Justin (Marsha) Schaal and Tory Schaal, 7 grandchildren Liam, Logan, Hunter, Aaron, Oliver, Finleigh, and Charlotte, mother-in-law Patricia Ellis, three sisters Patricia (John) Hanson, Kathy (Larry) Burchum and Robyn (Jim) Himes, a brother Bill (Tina) Schaal, his dogs Emerson and Pork Chop, numerous nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 2-6pm in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue where a Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00pm.
