William Neal Morris, Sr. loving husband, father, grandfather, and Oklahoma City businessman, passed away at Mercy Hospital, early Friday morning, September 5, 2008, surrounded by his family.

He was eighty six years old. Bill was born in South Bend, Indiana. His parents were Cornelius J. and Alta J. Morris. He grew up and attended school in South Bend, Indiana, graduating with the class of 1940. Soon after high school, Bill enlisted in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1944.

In 1957 the couple moved to the Oklahoma City area. After forty three years with O'Brien's, Bill retired. Always an active man, retirement didn't suit Bill and soon he and his wife began the Advanced Engraving Company. A company they owned and operated for twelve years.

After retirement, Bill devoted his life to his family. He took great pride in the many achievements of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, who lovingly referred to him as "Papa". He carried a camera with him at all times to record events in their lives, always making sure to make extra copies of prints to share with others. The family and many friends of Bill will forever cherish his memory and be grateful for the guidance he gave to them and for his loving presence in their lives.

Predeceasing Bill in death are his parents, one brother, James Morris, and two sisters, Jeanne Walsh and JoAnne Snoke.
