SOUTH BEND - Jack W. Dodson, 73, of Mission, Texas, formerly of South Bend, died at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 31 in Mission. Hidalgo County (Texas) Coroner Arnaldo Corpus is investigating the death.
Mr. Dodson retired from Mossberg Printing Co. and QSI, Mishawaka. He was born Feb. 6, 1922, in Niles. On April 31, 1945, he married Constance Soderberg. She survives with a daughter, Pamela S. West of Elkhart; two sons, Greg J. of Traverse City, Mich., and Neil of Osceola; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, June Sayers of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Donna Bixby of Iowa City, Iowa.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Warner Funeral Home, Osceola. Cremation has taken place in Texas.
