Mr. Gregory Alan Swan, age 58, passed away on the early afternoon of Thursday, November 22, 2018. Gregory was born on May 18, 1960 in South Bend to William and Bonnie Jean (Fortin) Swan.

On February 14, 1997, Gregory was united in marriage to Tina (Lake) McPhearson Swan, who survives. Gregory was employed at Ziker, faithfully serving over 30 years as a dry cleaner. He was the proud father of six, grandfather to nine and a beloved uncle, cousin and friend to many. Gregory loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. His hobbies included music, movies and cars, rooting for Notre Dame and tending to his several koi ponds. Gregory also loved camping and being outdoors.

Gregory is survived by his loving wife of 21+ years, Tina; children Thomas Swan of Mishawaka, Nicholas Swan of Mishawaka, Chad (Maggie) McPhearson of Mishawaka, Ashley McPhearson of Mishawaka, Angelique McPhearson of Michigan City and Cody McPhearson of Mishawaka; nine grandchildren: Aidan, Layla, Damien, Imogen, Cameron, Harper, Sawyer, Laci and Liam; mother Bonnie Jean Swan of South Bend; brothers William (Lynda) Swan of Mishawaka and David Swan of Mishawaka; as well as a host of extended relatives and friends. Gregory was preceded in death by his father, William, and his sister, Cynthia Swan.

A Memorial Service will be held in Gregory’s honor on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Palmer Funeral Home – River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, IN 46615. Friends may call on the family for visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. prior to service at the funeral home.
