Thomas “Woody” Woodbridge

July 15, 1958 - June 19, 2018

INDIALANTIC, FL - Thomas “Woody” Woodbridge, an avid surf fisher of Indialantic, FL, formerly of South Bend was born on July 15, 1958 and “Went Fishing” on June 19, 2018.

Woody was born in South Bend, IN to his loving parents, William and Dorothy Woodbridge, both of whom preceded him in death.

Woody graduated from Clay High School in 1976 and was a retired union carpenter.

On July 18, 1998 Woody married the love of his life, Cathy Singleton, in Edwardsburg, MI.

Woody enjoyed spending the past two years “In Paradise” walking the beach with his faithful dog Cujo, spending time on the beach with his wife, fishing, and drinking cold Coors beer. He also enjoyed “Friday on the Rock” with his “Florida Family”.

Woody was an avid Michigan fan and a fan of any team that played against Notre Dame.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Cathy; daughter and son-in-law, Brittany & Dan Graves; son, Ben Smith; his grandchildren, Landon and Maddie Graves, and Hunter De-Berry-Smith; his brother, Jim (Debbie) Woodbridge; his niece, Jennifer Woodbridge; his “brother from another mother,” Bob (Sherri) Cain, and numerous family and friends who will miss his one of a kind sense of humor.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 2pm-6pm at the American Legion, 2503 E. Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN, 46615.
