Jill Anne Flint (Smith) - Class Of 1975

Jill Anne Flint (Smith)

Smith, Jill Anne 8/3/1957 - 11/5/2019 Grand Rapids, Michigan Jill Anne (Flint) Smith, age 62, returned to the realm of everlasting love on Nov 5th 2019 at home with her daughter, husband and sister by her side. She was born on Aug 3rd 1957 in South Bend, IN to Roger Flint and Jacqueline Flint.

Jill had an effervescent presence unlike any other. With a compassionate heart of the purest love, she cared deeply for her family and friends. She was an amazing, loving wife and mother to her husband and daughter. As the "hostess with the most-est", she loved to bring people together to share in laughter and good times. She will always be known for her loving nature, infectious humor, gourmet cooking, impeccable style, eye for design, healthy living and entrepreneurial drive. She was loved by all who were blessed enough to know her.

After graduating from Clay High School, Jill moved to Grand Rapids, MI to attend Davenport University and then to work for Gantos. She continued on to many other successful ventures, among them, her creation of the "Gourmet Organizer" and the organization of a Wetlands fundraiser. The common thread weaved through all her ventures was a desire to help others get the most out of life, whether it be in organization, fashion, health or design.

She was preceded in death by her Father Roger Flint and Sister Janie Knutson. Jill is survived by her husband Charles Smith, daughter Alexandra Smith, Mother Jacqueline Flint and Sister Judith Graft, all of whom she loved dearly. A Celebration of Life will be held at Blythefield Country Club, 5801 Northland Drive NE, Belmont, MI on Saturday, Nov 16 at 4 pm.
