Candace L (Card) Beehler

MISHAWAKA — Candace L. Beehler, 38, of 15th Street, died at 10:25 p.m. Sunday in the home of her mother on Juniper Road, South Bend, after an illness. Mrs. Beehler was a hairdresser and stylist for Mary E. Kamp Beauty Shop, Mishawaka, and an employee of Superior Piece Parts, Mishawaka. She was born Oct. 1, 1953, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On Sept. 23, 1972, in South Bend, as Candace L. Card, she married Bruce W. Beehler. He survives with a son, Steven at home; her mother, Irene Card of South Bend; and a brother, Michael Card of Montgomery, Ill.

She was a member of B.K. Club Auxiliary, B.K. Archers, Night Ladies Bowling League of University Lanes and St. Bavo's Catholic Church. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Hahn-DeVos Funeral Home, where a wake will be at 3:45 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Steven Beehler Memorial Fund, in care of Valley American Bank.
