Robert Dale Walsh Sr, 82, of Marietta, died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013. He was a loving father & grandfather. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia K. Walsh and his oldest daughter Debra Lynn Chapman. He is survived by his daughters and son-in-laws, Kathleen W. and Anthony Zackery, Woodstock, Pamela W. and Gerald A. Hinesley, Conyers, and Elizabeth W. and Jeffery C. Taylor, Marietta; sons and daughter-in-law, Robert D. Walsh Jr, Woodstock and John D. and Peggy Walsh, Canton; sister Ruth Ellen Veninga, Tucson, AZ; 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Friday morning in the Reece Memorial Chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home with Hollis Rumble of Rockdale Community Church officiating. Interment will be at Cherokee Memorial Park, following the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 Thursday evening at Woodstock Funeral Home.
