Russell Humphrey - Class Of 1943 VIEW PROFILE

ST. PAUL, MN - Russell Humphrey Jr. passed away in St. Paul, MN on October 28, 2016 with his family by his side. He loved his family and Michiana and along with his wife, Joyce, was the proud owner of the Humphrey Tree Farm.

Russ graduated from Washington Clay High School and attended Indiana University. He worked at Bendix for 30 years where he was a UAW steward for 15 years. He built a miniature golf course called Birdie Putt. His true love was his nursery and selling Christmas trees.

He is preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Joyce Henke Humphrey.

He is survived by his three daughters, Gaylyn Humphrey Bicking, Jan Humphrey, and Sue Humphrey Russell from the Minneapolis area; 2 sons, Russell Humphrey III and Craig Humphrey from the Los Angeles area, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

A celebration is planned of the lives of Russ and Joyce on August 5th at 25807 US 12E, Edwardsburg at 4pm.
