SOUTH BEND - Dale Eugene Yost Jr., 56, passed away at home on Monday, February 4. Dale was born on September 28, 1956 at Mitchell Field Air Force Base, Long Island, NY to Dale E. and Jean Marie (Carroza) Yost.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Becky Marie Yost Bland.

Surviving are his mother, Jean Marie Snyder of Mishawaka; son, Dale E. Yost III "Tre" of New Albany, IN; daughter, Candis Hanson of DePauw, IN; sister, Lynette Yost Vendeola of Mishawaka; brothers, Brian (Barbara) Yost of South Bend, David (Debra) Yost of Elkhart, Douglas Dale (Debra) Yost of Lodi, OH, Danniel Ray (Rhonda) Yost of Mishawaka and Paul "PJ" Turrell of Mishawaka; his beloved German Shepherd, Thunder; his long time companion, Laura Van Searborough of Elkhart, and many nieces and nephews.

Dale graduated from Clay High School in South Bend; he was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a Mail Supervisor for OnLine Data for four years.

A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9 in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, with Rev Bob Vale officiating. Family and friends may gather in the funeral home for visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. before the service.
