Gloria Jean Payne 54 of Portage Avenue South Bend IN passed away at 10:01 p.m., on Friday April 15, 2022 at Memorial Hospital South Bend IN.

Gloria was born June 12, 1967 in South Bend IN to Eddie Barry Hubrins and Mary Lee Curry who both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son Corey Miller, a cousin Charles Payne, grandparents nWilli & Gertrude Payne Sr and kids father Gilbert Miller.

Gloria attended Clay High School from 1982 to 1984 and she received her GED later. Her work history included working as a waitress for The Lauber and babysitting the majority of her life. Her passions were dancing, listening to music, spending time with her family and giving people advice.

Survivors left to cherish her memory include a daughter Dr. Lisa Miller and a son Rudolph Miller both of South Bend IN, 17 grandchildren, two sisters Rosemary Curry (Carl) Washington and Suzette Curry (Tyrone) Davis, one brother Rickey Miller all of South Bend IN, maternal aunts and uncles Delores Butler, Maxine Buggs, Doris Payne, Willie Payne Jr and Timmy Payne, paternal aunts and uncles Elnora Robinson, Gloria Hubrine, Mike Hubrine and Matt Hubrine along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday April 23, 2022 at Alford’s Mortuary with viewing being held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
