MILTON H. FRESHWATERS

Milton H. Freshwaters, 86, of St. Joseph passed away Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022, at his home.

Milton was born May 12, 1936, in Benton Harbor to Milton B. and Harriett (Hauser) Freshwaters.

He graduated from Washington-Clay High School in South Bend, Ind., Class of 1954. Milton went on to further his education and graduate from Indiana University with a bachelor's degree. He worked as a substitute teacher for many years with St. Joseph Public Schools. Milton was an avid reader and loved to study history. He could answer almost any history question and find your location on a map. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Milton is survived by his sister, Lorraine (Dale) Grabowski of Argyle, Texas; his nephew, Greg (Suzie) Grabowski of Cumming, Ga.; two nieces: Cindy (Pete) Mitchell and Tina (Michael) Iverson both of Argyle; 11 great-nieces nephews; and nine great-great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his parents.
