I believe, she would of followed him to the moon if he wanted to go. He was a lucky man. And now they will meet in heaven.

In addition to his family and military career, he worked for Butch Cramer at the Standard Station and the Sinclair Station with John Mechling Both in Roseland. He was a fireman for the Clay Fire department in South Bend, Indiana. He worked at both the Cleveland and Auten Rd stations for many years. When he traveled to Illinois, his position there was at Illini Motors. Upon returning to the Michiana area, he started his own business called ALL-E Center. It was an Auto, Lawn, Lectric repair business. After selling that business he co-partnered with John Mechling (now deceased) and created A&J Rentals. It was a Heavy Equipment sales and service, Rental equipment and motor repairs business. He then sold A&J to another as he chose to retire and just do maintenance jobs from his home. He had a great work ethic, and was always working. Tearing apart and putting things back together. He had a motto, that we all had to live by. “There are two ways to do something… The right way, and the Hoyt way, And the Hoyt way IS the right way.

Daddy was very active with his friends. He would make time to be with them. And, he made friends everywhere. He played pool, had weekly poker games with his longest best friends, He would deep sea fish in Florida. He loved flower-yard landscaping and using all of those big boy landscaping vehicles. As time went on after working in his garage he enjoyed puzzles on his computer, watching old crime shows from the 60-70’s and westerns. Loved his westerns.

Daddy was lifelong members to the AMVETS, Eagles, Elks, American Legion, Moose and I am sure I am forgetting something. He loved and was loved and respected. He will be missed by many.
