Ellen Margaret Feeney, 23, of Marquette Avenue, South Bend, passed away on January 1, 2005, at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. Born on February 28, 1981, in South Bend, Ellen was a lifetime resident of South Bend and graduated from Clay High School in June 2000. Ellen was born to J. Bernard and Susan M. (Good) Feeney as one of four children. She is survived by sisters, Elizabeth (Stephen) Eder and Katherine Feeney, and by a brother, J. Timothy (Rachel) Feeney. Also surviving is Ellen's nephew, Conlon Eder. 

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary Feeney; her paternal aunt, Joann Feeney; and by her maternal uncle, Gregory Good.

Ellen enjoyed music and dancing, horseback riding, spending time with her family, and playing practical jokes on her siblings. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, at Holy Cross Church on Wilber Street, South Bend. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the Hickey Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road.
