SPARTANBURG, SC - John William Hoover, Jr., 58, of Spartanburg died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Hoover was the husband of Karen Wynn Hoover and was the son of the late John William Hoover, Sr. and Dorothy S. Hoover.
Mr. Hoover was an automotive supply quality engineer.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one sister, Candy Smith and her husband Terry of Salem, VA; two nephews, many great nephews and nieces, and thirty-two foreign exchange students.
Visitation will be 1-2:15, Saturday, June 15 followed by memorial services at 2:30 at First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg. Dr. Michael Hamlet will officiate.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the John William Hoover, Jr. Memorial Fund, c/o Carolina Alliance Bank, 200 South Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306.
