Patricia Ann Godsey passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025, in her hometown of South Bend, Indiana, at the age of 66. Born on November 21, 1958, to the late Richard and Libby (Jester) Larrison, Patricia's life was a testament to her unwavering dedication to her family and her community.
Patricia was a beacon of strength and love for her family. She is survived by her adoring children, Angela (Stephanie) Godsey and Michael Godsey; her beloved grandchildren, Ty (Lindsey) Godsey, Jr. Godsey, Austin Waidner, Nina Godsey, Leea Godsey, Savanna Godsey and Libby Godsey; and her cherished great-grandchild, Mylah Godsey; and her brother Richard “Rick” (Christi) Larrison Jr. Patricia's legacy of kindness and nurturing will live on through them, as they continue to embody the values she instilled in them.
A proud alumna from Ivy Tech with an associate’s degree, Patricia's intelligence and work ethic led her to a fulfilling career as a Financial Manager for St. Joseph County for 36 years, retiring in 2021. Her colleagues respected her for her integrity, her sharp mind, and her ability to manage complex budgets with ease. Patricia's professional achievements were matched only by her commitment to serve her community, as she was actively involved in various associations, including the Clay Democratic Club where she volunteered her time and expertise to make a difference.
Memorial Services for Patricia will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Palmer Funeral Home – Welsheimer North Chapel 17033 Cleveland Rd. South Bend, In 46635.
