William Glen Miller

MISHAWAKA - William G. Miller, 69, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 2:45 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2013 in Hines Veteran's Hospital in Illinois. William was born on March 26, 1943 in South Bend, IN, to Myrlan and Margaret (Zirille) Miller both of whom preceded in death. A sister, Ruth Troeger and two nieces, Amanda Troeger and Marilyn Scott, also preceded William in death.

William is survived by his nephews and nieces, John (Stacey) Troeger of Rochester, MN, Mari (Richard) Dominguez of Elkhart, IN,, William Troeger of Elkhart, IN, and Michelle (Sean) Urbanski of South Bend, IN; and several great-nieces and nephews who were a very special part of his life including Andrew, Adrienne, Ashley, Alexis, Allison, Zachary and Meghan.

Uncle Bill enjoyed fishing, boating, country music, gambling and spending time with family. He was an avid Notre Dame fan and didn't miss watching a football game. He used to own homes in Las Vegas and was most happiest when he was there in the warm weather entertaining family and friends. William was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force being honorably discharged on August 14, 1963.

Family and friends may call on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka where a memorial service will also be held on Monday at 6:00 p.m., with Rev. Ervin Mize officiating the memorial service. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
