SOUTH BEND — Barbara Ann Young, 65, passed away at 6:26 pm Monday, November 21, 2011 in St.Joseph Regional Medical Center. Barbara was born on August 10, 1946 in South Bend to Floyd and Irene (Orban) Ewing.

Surviving are two sons, James M. (Jackie) Ewing Sr. of Avondale, AZ and Timothy A. (Barbara) Respondek of South Bend; 7 grandchildren, Codie A. Respondek Sr., Kayla N. Respondek, Seth A. Respondek, Breanna M. Respondek, James M. Ewing Jr., Christopher J. Ewing, and Michael J. Ewing; 2 great-grandchildren, Codie A. Respondek Jr. and Amelia Respondek; and a brother, Floyd D. (Delsie) Ewing of South Bend.

Cremation has taken place and celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, November 29, 2011 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. Family and friends may call one half hour prior to services in the funeral home.
