Although John had no children of his own, he was a most wonderful and caring uncle and brother, always willing to go above and beyond to be helpful to any need.
After serving int the army he worked at his parents’ bookstores, the Distributors, Van’s/ Kennicott, Pickrell’s, and Miami Florist as a floral delivery driver. He loved bringing floral arrangements to cheer people up and often ended up helping the recipient with chores while he was there. He was a kind and gentle, and giving soul, who will be truly missed.
There will be no Formal Service held had this time. Hahn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements and extends their deepest sympathies to the Hawley family.
