Beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and "Pops", Jack Donald Pingle died April 30,2022 at the age of 90.

A Korean War veteran, Jack served in the Navy aboard the USS Laertes as a machinist. In civilian life, He was a tool and die machinist, retiring from National Standard. He worked his retirement years for Martin's Supermarket located on Bittersweet Road.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Kathryn Jean (Sellon) Pingle, granddaughter Jessica Ann Powers and great-granddaughter Faye Amos. He also was preceded in death by six brothers and seven sisters.

Surviving Jack are his daughters, Kimberly Pingle and Laura (Jeff) Figg, granddaughter Katie (John) Amos- grandchildren Emma, Kyle and Bridget and granddaughter Audrey (Jason) Taylor- grandchildren, Jack and Lorelei. He also leaves behind a very special nephew Terry (Linda) Pingel as well as Megan Troeger and Crystal Troeger, whom Jack and Jean took under their wings and cared for as daughters.

A humble and kind man, Jack was generous in spirit and cared deeply for those he knew and loved. Per his request there will be no funeral.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

He will be greatly missed.
