Quentin Dotson March 22, 1988 - Oct. 20, 2015 SOUTH BEND - Quentin Rey Dotson was born March 22, 1988, to Raymond and Mary Jane (Scales) Dotson in South Bend, IN. Quentin passed away at the age of 27 on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Center for Hospice, South Bend, IN.

Quentin graduated from Clay High School in 2006. He worked as a supervisor for NFI.

He married Francesca Kilgore on April 13, 2012. He was a member of Mount Carmel Church, and his hobbies included playing video games, taking things apart and putting them back together again, especially electronics, building model cars, and watching Notre Dame football games.

Quentin was preceded in death by great-grandparents, John & Jessie Mae Parker, Norman & Dora Lee Dotson, Christine Thomas, Matthew & Lena Scales; nieces, Nevaeh Dotson & Dalayia Scales; cousins, Gregory Dockery, Tyeshon Dotson, Eddie Scales and Mekhi Anderson.

Survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife, Francesca Dotson; one daughter, Ariaunna Dotson; a son, Quentin McGuire; his parents, Raymond & Mary Jane Dotson; four sisters, Natasha Dotson (Brandon), Latroya Scales, Rita Scales (Lorne) and Charmaine Scales; four brothers, Raymond Dotson, Jr., Raymond Matthew (Jamica) Dotson, DeShawn S. Dotson and DeShawn T. Dotson; maternal grandparents, Johnny & Gladys Scales; paternal grandparents, Tommy & Gladys Dotson; mother-in-law, Kim Kilgore; aunts, Virginia Parker, Gwendolyn Scales, Norma Blackmon, Christine (Will) Dotson, Linda Dockery, Rita Dotson, Linda Williams, Jackie Dotson, Tina (Darrin) Taylor & Lestene Pettus; uncles, Johnny (Erica) Scales, Matthew (Lisa) Wills, Robert Parker, Herbert, Dewayne & Tommy Dotson, Jr.; a sister-in-law, Kaelynn Kilgore Ivory; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ansari, Jenn, Michiana Hematology, Hospice Care Center, St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, ICU 6th Floor & ER Staff. Quentin Dotson Memorial Contributions may be made at any TCU.

Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, with viewing occurring from 11:00 a.m. to noon. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Alford's Mortuary. www.Alfordsmortuaryinc.com
