Services for John L. Krillenberger, 32, of Fort Wayne, formerly of South Bend, were to be at 3 p.m. today in the Sheets Funeral Home, Churubusco, Ind., with Rev. Edmund Peters, pastor of South Bend's Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, officiating. Krillenberger was killed in an truck accident on Friday in Markle, Ind.
Graveside services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger. He was born Oct. 6, 1950, in South Bend and lived in South Bend most of his life.
On June 7, 1975, he married Deborah Grimsley, who survives. He also is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward (Lois) Krillenberg of South Bend; a daughter, Elizabeth Joy, at home; a son, Justin, at home; a sister, Mrs. Lyn (Jessica) Zeiger of Huntington; and three brothers, Joe and James, both of South Bend, and Richard of Montana.
He was a 1969 graduate of Clay High School and graduated from Ball State University in 1974. He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of South Bend.
Memorial contributions may be made to the cardiac unit at Riley Hospital of Indianapolis or to the Ronald McDonald House at Riley Hospital.
