Robert I. Romine

SOUTH BEND Robert I. 56, of Gresham, Ore., forRomine, merly of South Bend, died at 9:20 a.m. Monday in Gresham after an illness.

Mr. Romine was an aircraft inspector for Boeing Aircraft, Gresham. He was born Jan. 22, 1937, in Harvey, Ill., and lived in South Bend from 1940 to 1956.

He is survived by three sons, Troy Romine of Medford, Ore., Christopher Romine and Brad Howell, both of Gresham; his mother, Grace Romine of South Bend; and two brothers, Carl and Jim, both of South Bend.

He was a member of Robert Bloom Lodge of Independent Order of Odd Fellows and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Congregational Church
