Joseph Francis Walsh passed away in January 2026 in Madison, Wisconsin. He was born to Dr. William James and Mary Jo (Herzog) Walsh on June 12, 1958. He married Julie Michelle Houser on September 23, 1989 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Elkhart, Indiana. 

Joseph graduated from Clay High School and Indiana University South Bend. He was employed by Interstate Glass Company, South Bend, Indiana.

He had two sisters, Christine Walsh of Graham, North Carolina and Carolyn (Jeff Lepper) Walsh of Angier, North Carolina, and two brothers, William (Laura Sherin) James Jr., of Wilmington, North Carolina and Gregory (Christine) Walsh of Indianapolis, Indiana.
