Lucille G. (Clark) Howe
Jan. 8, 1916 - July 2, 1996
Mrs. Lucille G. Howe, 80, of South Bend, Ind., passed away at p.m. Tuesday, July 2, at the residence of her daughter Kathleen Downey, Whippoorwill Ct., South, Bend, after an illness. Mrs. Howe was retired from former Milady Shop Mishawaka where she worked in sales for 17 years.
Mrs. Howe was born Jan. 8, 1916, in South Bend to the late Lloyd and Lulu Clark.
As Lucille Clark, on April 20, 1941, she married Donald L. Howe, who preceded her in death in 1978.
She is survived by two loving children, Kathleen Downey and Marilyn Jozwiak of South Bend, and four grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Howe was a member of Evangel Heights United Methodist Church, the order of Eastern Star Chapter 2 of which was a 50-year member.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 6, at 10 in the Welsheimer Funeral 521 N. William St. The Edward Fritz, pastor of Evangel Heights United Methodist Church, will officiate. will be in the Riverview Cemetery. Friends may. call in funeral home from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.
The family requests that memorials for Mrs. Howe be given to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
