Services for Donald L. Howe, 63, of 2611 Larch Way, who was dead on arrival Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital following an apparent heart attack suffered while he was driving in the 2300 block of E. Colfax, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Forest G.

Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood. Rev. Michael Conyer, pastor of the Evangel Heights United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Howe was a member of St. Joseph Valley Lodge 45, Free & Accepted Masons, who will conduct a memorial service at 7:30 p.m.

today in the funeral home. Howe was born on March 20, 1916, at Three Rivers, Mich., and moved to South Bend 57 years ago. On April 20, 1941, he married Lucille Clark who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Kathleen Downey and Marilyn Jozwiak, both of South Bend, four grandchildren and a sister, Dorothy Howe of Tampa, Fla.

Howe retired from the Bendix Corp. and was currently employed by Service Sales, Inc. He was the president of Walnut Grove Mutual Housing Corp. and a member of the Bendix Management Club; the Scottist Rite Valley of South Bend; Mizpah Temple, Fort Wayne, and the Avalon Grotto.
