George Prytz

SOUTH BEND - George Prytz, 75, Santa Cruz, Calif., formerly of South Bend, died Monday in Santa Cruz. Mr. Prytz was a former employee of South Bend Lathe, former co-owner of Luther's Restaurant, Santa Cruz, and former employee of International Video Corp.

He was born Sept. 26, 1916, in Grand Haven, Mich., and lived in South Bend until moving to California in 1959.

His wife, Lorraine Prytz, died in February.

He is survived a daughter, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a brother.

A son, Ronald G., preceded death.

He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Oak Hill Funeral Home Chapel of Roses, San Jose, Calif. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
