Cheryl Ann (Smith) Silverberg, age 70, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on February 13, 2026, in South Bend.

Cheryl was born on November 25, 1955, in South Bend, Indiana.  She graduated from Clay High School in 1974.  On July 5, 1975, in South Bend, she married the love of her life, Tim Silverberg, who preceded her in death on October 4, 2020. Together they shared many happy years filled with love, laughter, and cherished traditions.

Cheryl is survived by her two sons, Joseph Silverberg of Fishers, Indiana, and Joshua Silverberg of South Bend, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Tim.

A dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse, Cheryl devoted much of her life to helping individuals with disabilities, a calling that reflected her generous spirit and caring heart. She enjoyed spending time along the shores of Lake Michigan with Tim, antiquing with friends, and going to the movies. Cheryl will be remembered for her kindness, her willingness to help others, and the joy she found in life’s simple moments.

According to the family’s wishes, Cheryl will be cremated and no services will be held.
